Since 1981 Royal Crown Derby(RCD) have made the best quality bone china paperweights of animals and birds. They are hand painted and many have gold gilt. All bear the RCD back stamp and are of a superb design. First quality weights generally have a gold stopper although early pieces made for export have no stopper. Second quality pieces generally have a silver stopper.
Here we are selling a family of Sumatran Tigers comprising of the Tiger, the Tigress and the Cub. All are boxed and of first quality with gold stoppers. They have the RCD back stamp and are dated 2014 on the underside.
