Only 1 available

A curious pair of small turquoise blue figurines. Thought to be of a lesser Egyptian god or benevolent demon callee Bes or Aha. The original, discovered in 1905 in Esna, Egypt, appears to be a lion legged man with a black inked/pigmented mane. Many reproductions were produced for the tourist market. Bes/Aha is believed to bring protection. The figures stand at approximately 10 CMS tall, are in good condition and have BMP stamped on the base.
